Drywall damage rarely comes alone. A leak stains the ceiling, a storm cracks a wall, a doorknob punches a hole. Parker Caufield called us for “a couple drywall repairs this spring after ice storm.”
Ceilings are the hard part. Michael Combs had us do ceiling repair and then paint the ceiling, so there was no line where the patch stopped.
Drywall and ceiling work we do
- Holes and dents. From nail pops to fist-size holes, cut back, backed, taped and finished.
- Cracks. Cracked seams and corners re-taped so they don’t open again next season.
- Ceilings. Stains, sags and cracks repaired, then painted to blend.
- Storm and water damage. Wet board cut out and replaced once the source is fixed.
- New walls. Robert G Huntington had us build a false wall. Framing, board and finish.
Why the finish matters
A patch that shows under paint is a patch you see every day. We feather the mud wide, sand it flat and check it in raking light before anything gets painted.
