Gutter cleaning in Frankfort, KY

Leaves, seed pods and shingle grit fill gutters fast. We clear them out so the rain goes where it should.

Gutter Cleaning

Water off the roof, away from the house.

A full gutter spills over the edge. That water soaks the fascia, splashes the siding and pools along the foundation.

Every photo on this page is from our own jobs: a gutter packed with shingle grit halfway through the clean, and a house where three runs went from full to clear.

What a cleaning covers

  • Gutters cleared by hand. Leaves, sticks and the dark shingle grit that settles in the bottom, scooped out.
  • Downspouts checked. So the water runs down and out, not back up into the gutter.
  • The mess hauled off. Nothing left behind in your beds or on the lawn.
  • Problems pointed out. Loose hangers, leaky seams or worn shingles, flagged while we are up there. See roof, siding and water damage repair.

When to call

Most homes need it in late fall once the leaves are down, and again in spring. Gutters that overflow in a hard rain are telling you it’s time.

We leave the place clean, too. Michael Combs said it best: “They work hard and clean up the job site very well!” Call (502) 545-9685 or text a photo of your gutters.

Questions

Gutters, answered.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

Once or twice a year for most homes, usually late fall after the leaves drop and again in spring. Houses under big trees can need it more often.

What is the black grit in my gutters?

Granules that wash off asphalt shingles. A little is normal. A lot can mean the roof is getting old, and we will tell you if we see that.

Can you look at the roof while you are up there?

Yes. Roof and siding repair is part of what we do. See our roof, siding and water damage repair page.
